This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate or experienced Metrologist with a Mechanical, Automotive, or Aerospace Engineering background and a keen interest in metrology and quality assurance. Full training will be provided.

Metrologist
Responsibilities:

• Operating and programming X-Ray Computed Tomography (XCT) equipment to inspect complex components.
• Supporting engineering and production teams with dimensional and defect analysis.
• Maintaining calibration, traceability, and radiation safety documentation.
• Designing and producing simple fixtures for scanning.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to improve inspection processes and accuracy.

Metrologist
Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or Aerospace Engineering, or related discipline.
• Interest in metrology, inspection, and 3D measurement technology.
• Strong attention to detail and good problem-solving ability.
• Organised and capable of working independently as well as within a team.
• Enthusiasm to learn and develop in a high-accuracy engineering environment.

Desirable:

• Experience or awareness of XCT, CMM, or 3D scanning equipment.
• Understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Interest in data analysis, non-destructive testing, or additive manufacturing.
