Interim Supply Chain Administrator
Enjoy keeping suppliers, purchasing and production running smoothly? Looking for an opportunity to put those skills to use within a clean-energy technology business?
H-Power is developing innovative hydrogen and ammonia-based power solutions, helping industries move towards cleaner alternatives to traditional diesel-powered systems.
We're looking for an experienced Supply Chain Administrator to join the team on a six-month fixed-term contract, supporting purchasing and procurement activities as the business develops its technology and production operations.
You'll play an important role in making sure the right components and materials are available when they're needed, working closely with suppliers, purchasing, engineering and production teams.
What will you be involved in?
This is a varied, hands-on position where you'll be responsible for:
Raising and managing purchase orders, checking pricing, quantities and delivery schedules.
Liaising with suppliers, chasing outstanding orders and resolving delivery queries.
Monitoring material availability and identifying potential shortages before they affect production.
Maintaining accurate purchasing records and supporting supplier pricing and cost control.
Working alongside production and engineering teams to keep purchasing activities on track.
It's an opportunity to build on your purchasing experience within a technically interesting environment, where accuracy, organisation and communication make a real difference.
What experience will you need?
You'll have previous experience in purchasing administration, procurement support or a similar supply chain position.
You'll also be confident managing purchase orders, communicating with suppliers and using Excel alongside purchasing or ERP/MRP systems.
Experience within an engineering or manufacturing business would be useful but isn't essential.
